Subject: Concerts at Museum of Wellington City & Sea
Hi everyone
We are coming up to our second Sunday of concerts here at the Museum. Last
Sunday proved to be an excellent event with a fantastic concert by Bob Cross
followed by Hudson.
This week proves to be equally exciting. At 2.00pm Gwen and Keith Giles are
performing. They are coming all the way down from Auckland to treat us to
their Irish charm and song. Be sure to support them.
This is close to Roy's bones because this grand woman with this pure Celtic
voice is his Big sister Gwen with her husband Keith on guitar.
At 3.30pm Dixie Lix will be performing and promise a great sound of
authentic country/bluegrass . Dixie Lix formed in 2001 with the aim of
playing authentic 'Old Time' country music. The Band has certainly made
their mark wherever they have performed.
Remember the concerts are free to the public and it's a great opportunity to
view the Museums latest exhibition
"TREATY 2U"
Go to the website and check out what's on at the Museum. www

Another eight weeks to follow of really grand concerts.
Hoping to see you on these Sundays
