      More about Contra dance for the curious:
Contra Dance is a North American (New England) dance tradition; all you
need to know will be taught by the caller.  The basic movement is a
walking step, so no great athleticism is required.
      The music often has an American old-time flavour, but we also play
a fair number of Irish and Scottish jigs and reels as well.  Because we can.
